ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
"I was born and grew up in Paris, France, living there until I graduated from journalism school, got my first pro camera and sold my first news and stock photos. Soon after, packing only my photo gear and my dreams, I landed in New York City to... visit. I first worked as an assistant for renowned photographers and commercial studios. I ardently learned my craft, from still life to illustration, from portrait to fashion. I later moved to New Jersey and worked in commercial and service photography. With the digital camera revolution, I started a renewed and ongoing career as a stock and fine art photographer. I now reside in Maine and continue my long and fulfilling career while rebuilding an antique farmhouse."
Laboratory lass is very difficult to illuminate and photograph properly. To look perfect, it should be clean and free of distracting scratches, spots and water marks. Even with the best cleaning and dusting effort, close-up glassware photography always shows, magnified, the tiniest imperfections. To achieve a flawless result, Olivier insists that each photo be thoroughly retouched in post-processing. It's typically done at very high screen magnification, using mostly a clone tool brush set at a tiny diameter of 6 pixel. Such precision is necessary to remove any visible remaining flaws in the glass, and even bubbles in liquids that he finds distracting. This is a very demanding and lengthy process since hundreds of defects must be removed from each single image, but the result is a perfectly flawless glass surface and a superior quality photograph."

PRINTS
FineArtAmerica.com is one of the largest, most-respected giclee printers and framers in the world. We are also home to 100,000+ of the world's greatest living artists and photographers. It's a great combination. All of the images on our website can be purchased as museum-quality prints. If you just want a simple print that's rolled in a tube, that's great! If you want it framed, we'll do that to! We also sell canvas prints, acrylic prints, metal prints, greeting cards and more. All of our premium papers and canvases are acid-free and, with proper care, will last for generations. Unframed prints are shipped in sturdy 1/4" cardboard tubes and include a 1" white border to allow for future matting and framing. Prints may also be shipped in flat packaging upon request.
FRAMED PRINTS
FineArtAmerica.com is one of the largest, most-respected custom framers in the world. We currently offer 230 frames and 100 mats which can be used to create museum-quality masterpieces. All framed prints are assembled, packaged, and shipped by our expert framing staff and arrive "ready to hang" with pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails.
CANVAS PRINTS
All canvas prints are shipped "ready to hang" with a hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails. Fine Art America offers two different wrap styles, three different border styles, and hundreds of frame options.
ACRYLIC PRINTS
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results. The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that! All acrylic prints arrive "ready to hang" and there are two different ways to mount your acrylic print. Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"
METAL PRINTS
The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame on the back of the print includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall. All metal prints arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails. Metal prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
GREETING CARDS
Fine Art America greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and printed on 110 lb. paper stock using digital offset printers. Cards may be purchased as single cards, packs of 10, or packs of 25. All greeting cards ship within 48 hours and include white envelopes for mailing and gift-giving.
